COOL FOR THE SUMMER

Formula A

Pulp Riot BLONDEAF lightener + 10vol

Formula B

Formula C

Formula D Redken Shades EQ 8N + 8V

Formula E Redken Shades EQ 9N

STEP ONE

After sectioning out her face frame I used Formula A in a baby fine weave concentrating on building up the strong pop of light in the front moving on to the top of her head. Once I get to the back of the crown I start placing my foils vertically to create movement.

STEP TWO

Using Formula B I took a thin slice every other foil and used a backcombing technique to create pops of light throughout her ends without compromising dimension.

STEP THREE

Rinsed and shampooed with IGK hot girls shampoo and squeezed the excess water from the hair. Applied Formula C to her mid length to ends. Once applied from mid length to ends I applied it to her base and processed for 10 minutes.

STEP FOUR

Rinsed, shampooed and towel tried throughly to prepare for her root shadow.

Sectioning out her face frame again and coming it forward to separate it from the rest. Starting in the back I applied Formula D to her base feathering out about 1 1/2 inches.

STEP FIVE

Apply Formula E to her separated face section by taping down gently at her base to create a subtle root shadow while keeping her nice and bright. Process for about 5 minutes.

Rinsed throughly, conditioned with Wella service treatment and let sit for 5 minutes. Prepped her hair for styling using IGK Call Time spry and mistress hydrating balm.

**I added Brazilian Bond Builder to both my lightener formulas for added protection
